Big moment for our big girl today: full day at school!
She currently attends school three days a week, but just a few hours. We had hoped to put her in the extended program after winter break, but the spaces were filled. Everyone was quite sad about that. But then, a space opened on Fridays (the day I really need for studying since M is away at work) so today is her first day with "lunch bunch!" Instead of being picked up at 12:15, she gets to stay, have lunch, have rest time (ha!), and then do art projects until 2:45. It will be a fun experience for her and it will give me 5.5 hours of study time instead of 3. And that is HUGE these days!
Can't wait to hear all about her adventure today. I hope she loves it, because we signed her up for three full days in the fall. And we might add on the other two days (half or full) halfway through the year to start working towards the hard work and long days of kindergarten. Eep! :)
